This year marks the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future's Japanese release! To celebrate, Doc himself, Christopher Lloyd, has returned to Tokyo Comic Con! ノーマン・リーダス / Norman Reedus

He plays Daryl Dixon, one of the main characters in the popular drama series The Walking Dead, which is also popular in Japan. Since 2023, he has starred in the series' spin-off, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. The Executioner film series is also popular, and in 2022, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This past June, he provided motion capture and voice acting for the protagonist in the game “DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH,” developed by Hideo Kojima and others, continuing his role from the previous installment. C・B・セブルスキー / C. B. Cebulski

A legend in the comic book world, indispensable to Tokyo Comic Con and Osaka Comic Con. He worked as an editor in the US, Europe, Japan, and elsewhere before joining Marvel Comics in 2002. He also served as a talent coordinator scouting artists for Marvel, discovering and recruiting talented individuals from around the world. In 2017, he became Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics, overseeing editorial and creative operations. Known as Marvel Comics' Editor-in-Chief, he contributed to the success of popular characters like Spider-Man and Iron Man. Surprise announcements from him are sometimes made at Tokyo Comic Con, making his stage appearances something to look forward to this time as well.

A legend in the world of American comics, he has released numerous groundbreaking, acclaimed, and masterful works as both an artist and writer. He gained attention with his work on Marvel Comics' Daredevil starting in 1980. Later, his sci-fi period drama Ronin (based on the Japanese concept of the ronin, or masterless samurai) became a major talking point. He cemented his popularity with Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (1986), considered revolutionary for American comic book culture, and Batman: Year One (1987), which influenced numerous Batman films. His original work also includes 300, which was a huge hit in Japan. He also co-directed Sin City and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For with Robert Rodriguez. Additionally, he contributed the original concept for the films RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3, and directed the film adaptation of the classic comic book hero, The Spirit.

Jim Lee is a legend in the American comic book world and currently serves as President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of DC Comics. Starting his career at Marvel Comics, Lee is particularly renowned for the X-Men series, which holds the all-time record for highest-selling single issue and continues to hold that position today. Since joining DC Comics in 1998, he has spearheaded reforms, including modernizing and redesigning the costumes of iconic characters like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman for large-scale DC Universe crossover events such as “DC Rebirth” and “The New 52,” thereby revitalizing the overall image of the works. In 2024, his achievements were recognized with induction into the Will Eisner Comic Industry Hall of Fame, the honorary lifetime achievement award of the Eisner Awards, often called the Oscars of the comic book world.
