Koji Yamamoto Named Ambassador for Tokyo Comic Con 2025! Moe Iori Returns as PR Ambassador, LiLiCo and Yuichi Nakamaru Announced as Main MCs! The Official Main Visual Unveiled, Plus Celebrity Ticket Prices Revealed!
Tokyo Comic Convention Co., Ltd. (CEO: Takehiko Goto) is proud to announce the official Ambassador, PR Ambassador, Main MCs, Main Visual, and celebrity ticket information for Tokyo Comic Convention 2025 (“Tokyo Comic Con 2025”), to be held from Friday, December 5 through Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Koji Yamamoto Appointed as Ambassador!
With a star-studded guest lineup already creating huge buzz—including Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Jim Lee, Antony Starr, Karl Urban, and, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Tom Wilson, and Claudia Wells—anticipation for Tokyo Comic Con 2025 is at an all-time high.
Now, adding to the excitement, acclaimed actor Koji Yamamoto has been appointed as the official Ambassador of Tokyo Comic Con 2025!
Yamamoto, known for his wide-ranging performances from musicals to films, made his stage debut in 1987 at just 10 years old as Gavroche in the Japanese premiere of the musical Les Misérables. He later rose to fame with his role in the TV drama Hitotsu Yane no Shita (1993), and has since starred in numerous acclaimed productions including NHK’s historical drama Shinsengumi! (2004), the blockbuster film Shin Ultraman (2022), and most recently, the hit streaming drama Tokyo Swindlers (2024).
During Tokyo Comic Con 2025, Yamamoto will also host autograph and photo sessions, offering fans the chance to meet him in person. In addition, a special comment video from Yamamoto will be released on the official Tokyo Comic Con YouTube channel.

Born in Tokyo in 1976. Made his stage debut in 1987 in the Toho production of Les Misérables as Gavroche. Since then, he has appeared in numerous renowned musicals such as RENT, Godspell, and Little Shop of Horrors. With his role in Hitotsu Yane no Shita (1993), his career expanded from stage to TV, film, and even anime voice work. His recent credits include Tokyo Swindlers (2024), Kingdom 3: The Flame of Destiny (2023), and Shin Ultraman (2022).
Moe Iori Returns as PR Ambassador, LiLiCo and Yuichi Nakamaru Named as Main MCs!
Following the Ambassador announcement, Tokyo Comic Con 2025 is also proud to confirm its PR Ambassador. For the third year in a row, Moe Iori has been appointed!
Starting her career as a cosplayer, Iori has since expanded into gravure modeling, radio hosting, and streaming. With a total social media following exceeding 5.5 million, she enjoys massive popularity both in Japan and across Asia.
A passionate movie fan, Iori has appeared at past opening ceremonies in cosplay as Hermione from Harry Potter and in a classic bunny outfit, thrilling audiences. At Tokyo Comic Con 2024, she held a special cosplay photo session, drawing huge crowds. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see what stunning cosplay she will reveal at Tokyo Comic Con 2025!

She has appeared on over 150 magazine covers and participated in numerous official promotional events for hit films, anime, and games. Known as one of Japan’s top female streamers, Iori has served as ambassador for esports tournaments and international pop culture events, and is celebrated as a pop culture icon across Asia.
Tokyo Comic Con 2025 will also feature LiLiCo and Yuichi Nakamaru as its Main MCs.
LiLiCo, one of Japan’s most recognized movie commentators and media personalities, has interviewed countless international stars, and is active across TV, radio, voice acting, and narration. At Tokyo Comic Con 2024, she delighted fans in a special talk show for South Park, where she voices Eric Cartman in the Japanese dub.
Nakamaru, affectionately known to fans as “Yucchi,” made his debut in 2006 as a member of a popular idol group. He has since excelled in music, acting, hosting, and commentary, and in 2023 even debuted as a manga artist with Yamada-kun no Zawameku Jikan. At Osaka Comic Con 2025, he surprised fans with an appearance in the Artist Alley as a manga creator.
Together, LiLiCo and Nakamaru will co-host Tokyo Comic Con 2025 from December 5 to 7, energizing the event alongside PR Ambassador Moe Iori.

Film commentator / talent. Born in 1970 in Stockholm, Sweden. Moved to Japan at the age of 18 and began her entertainment career in 1989. Regularly appears as a film commentator on TBS’s King’s Brunch, as well as on numerous radio programs such as J-WAVE’s ALL GOOD FRIDAY. She is also known as the Japanese voice of Eric Cartman in the dubbed version of South Park, and is active as a narrator and actress. In 2020, she was selected as one of only 14 international hosts worldwide for DC Fandome. In 2024, she received both the “HAPPY WOMAN Award” and the “Nagaharu Yodogawa Award.” Beyond her on-screen work, she also designs and produces clothing and jewelry.

The Main Visual Contest, now a beloved tradition of Tokyo Comic Con, has determined the official “face” of Tokyo Comic Con 2025. Since its launch in 2019, the contest has attracted submissions from professionals, amateurs, and students alike, gaining immense popularity among fans.
This year, after rigorous judging, the Grand Prize was awarded to the dynamic work of &OK!.
“Thank you so much for selecting my work as the Grand Prize winner! It feels like a dream to see my art displayed at Makuhari Messe, a stage I’ve long admired.
