Stage Audition Guidelines
- For our Cosplay Collection, we are accepting applications from those of you who feel inspired to take on the challenge of runway shows and one-minute performances.
- Entries are welcome for cosplay and concept fashion featuring characters from all comics, novels, games, and tokusatsu works, both domestic and international, not limited to American comics or films.
- You can participate alone, as a couple, with all your friends, with your family, or even just children. Anyone can join, regardless of the number of participants.
- Costumes must be prepared by yourself, but you can participate wearing cosplay outfits, light cosplay outfits, bondage-inspired outfits, stylish outfits themed around your favorite anime or movies, or any other fashion you're proud of!
※There are no restrictions, but please adhere to moral standards and rules when applying or participating.
※Please remember to attach a photo when applying.
※If it is difficult to prepare actual photos, please attach stock images instead. - The runway background music will be provided by the organizers, so participants do not need to prepare it themselves.
- If you wish to perform, please prepare your audio source. Please ensure the audio source is royalty-free.
- The performance should be between 30 seconds and 1 minute. Please edit your audio source to be within 1 minute before sending it.
- There will be no rehearsal on stage on the day of the event.
We will explain the stage movements backstage before you take the stage. - We are unable to accommodate requests for lighting effects such as blackouts or other stage lighting adjustments.
- No effects involving loud explosions, open flames, or water may be used.

Stage Content
- You may participate in the runway show or performance on the special stage.
- For the performance portion, please take the stage and showcase your best cosplay within one minute.
- Examples: Performing favorite scenes, singing theme songs, dancing, discussing character love or the work itself, etc.
- Cosplay, light cosplay, bondage-inspired outfits, outfits themed around your favorite anime or movies, your signature fashion, runway shows, performances.

Other Important Notes
- Separately, you must purchase 【Tokyo Comic Con 2025 Admission Tickets】 + 【Cosplay Participation Passes】 for all participants.
- Photos and videos taken on stage may be shared on social media or used for promotional purposes for future Tokyo Comic Con events and related activities.
- Please enjoy the event during times when you are not performing on stage.

- Cosplay Participation RulesPlease review and agree.
- Please note that images from the stage may be used by the event organizers on websites, streaming platforms, social media, newspapers, TV, radio, and other media. By applying, you agree to this use in advance.
- If a participant is a minor, it shall be deemed that a parent or guardian has given consent.
- Acts that violate public order and morals, acts that violate laws and regulations, or acts that pose a risk of such violations are prohibited.
- Please refrain from using expressions that may be perceived as critical of specific groups, races, genders, or religions.
- No Bare Feet Allowed
- We cannot go to black.
- On stage, the use of knives, air guns capable of firing projectiles, and gas guns is prohibited.
- Costumes and props that may soil the stage are prohibited.
- Props that have just been painted or blood makeup that hasn't dried are not permitted.
- Throwing objects into the audience or offstage is not permitted.
- Video projections using a backdrop screen are not possible.
- The audio source for the runway section cannot be specified.
- To create the script based on the submitted work title and character names, changes cannot be made after submission.
- For the performance, please prepare the audio files under a free license.
- The performance must be within one minute. Please edit and submit it within one minute.
- To prevent accidents and confusion, please follow the instructions of venue staff at all times.
If you do not comply, we may refuse entry or cancel the event.
Any disruptive behavior that causes inconvenience to participants or organizers, or interferes with the proceedings, is strictly prohibited.
Important Notes for Applicants
※An automatic reply email will be sent once your application is complete.
※Selection results will be notified sequentially via email starting around Monday, November 3. (Please note that this schedule may change due to unforeseen circumstances.)
※Applications are not processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
※If we receive a large number of applications, the selection will be made by the secretariat, and the results will be notified by email.
※ Participation in the stage events is free of charge. However, all attendees participating in cosplay at Tokyo Comic Con must purchase both a “Tokyo Comic Con 2025 Admission Ticket” and a “Cosplay Participation Pass.” Please be advised in advance.
※Live streaming may be available online on the day of the event.
※Please be advised that media outlets may cover the event on the day.
※Photos and videos submitted in advance, photos and videos taken on stage during the event, or materials used in future Tokyo Comic Con-related event announcements may be used.
※Please enjoy the event during times when there are no stage performances.
