Tokyo Comic Convention Co., Ltd. (CEO: Takehiko Goto) has announced the name of a celebrity and celebrity stage information for Tokyo Comic Con 2024, which will be held from Friday, December 6 to Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Makuhari Messe (Chiba City, Mihama Ward).

The latest stage schedule for Tokyo Comic Con 2024 has been announced, featuring exciting talk shows and must-see events!

This year’s main stage will feature an impressive lineup of celebrities, including Jude Law, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mads Mikkelsen, and Josh Brolin, who will appear daily, alongside many other exciting stage events to energize the convention! Highlights include a special presentation of the animated epic “The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim,” and the new “Cosplay Collection” featuring stunning cosplayers and special guests. Plus, on the evening of December 7, the world premiere of the latest Ninja Batman film, “Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League” will take place! Don’t miss your chance to be among the first to see this highly anticipated DC movie at the fastest screening in the world!

The popular stage event Noriko Hidaka’s Voice Actors is returning bigger and better than ever!

In addition, the popular series Noriko Hidaka’s Voice Actors, streamed on the official Tokyo Comic Con YouTube channel, will also be broadcast live! In response to overwhelming demand, this year the event will be held twice—on December 6 (Friday) and December 7 (Saturday)!
On Day 1, join Kappei Yamaguchi, the voice of Ranma Saotome, and Rei Sakuma, the voice of Shampoo, from the beloved anime “Ranma ½,” which is making a big comeback with a TV adaptation after 32 years. On Day 2, the stage will feature Hiroaki Hirata, who voiced Joaquin Phoenix’s character in “Joker” (both films), and Toshihiko Seki, famous for voicing Muzan Kibutsuji in “Demon Slayer” and more recently, Kitaro’s father in “Birth of Kitarō: The Mystery of GeGeGe”. A star-studded talk session is sure to take place!

A rising young actor, who has captured the attention of master director Steven Spielberg, will be coming to Japan!

Ansel Elgort will be joining a list of 11 celebrity guests at “Tokyo Comic Con 2024,” which is now less than a month away. Other notable attendees include Jude Law, Mads Mikkelsen, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Christopher Lloyd. During the event, Ansel Elgort will be present for the entire duration and will participate in a photo session and autograph signing, among other activities. Despite having a career spanning just about 10 years, Ansel Elgort has become a popular young actor through his roles in many hit films such as Carrie, the Divergent series, and The Fault in Our Stars. In the action movie Baby Driver (2017), where he portrayed Baby, a young man with a natural gift for driving despite suffering from the aftereffects of a childhood accident, his powerful performance earned him a nomination for the Golden Globe Award® for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy.

In 2022, he attracted widespread attention for his role as Tony in Steven Spielberg’s musical film West Side Story, where he played the protagonist who falls in love with Maria, the sister of a member of the rival Sharks gang.

Furthermore, Ansel Elgort is not only the lead actor but also an executive producer of the Japanese-American co-production drama TOKYO VICE.
