Details of the Celebrity Stage, featuring over 10 renowned celebrities including Jude Law, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Mads Mikkelsen, have been partially released! Information on digital tickets required for attending the Celebrity Stage is also included. Additionally, we would like to issue an apology and correction regarding the information about the visiting celebrities.

Tokyo Comic Convention Co., Ltd. (CEO: Takehiko Goto) has announced the celebrity stage information for Tokyo Comic Con 2024, which will be held from Friday, December 6 to Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Makuhari Messe (Chiba City, Mihama Ward).

More celebrities than ever before will gather in one place! Information on the stage appearances of the luxurious visiting celebrities has been released!

With less than one month to go until the event, the much-anticipated stage lineup for the luxurious visiting celebrities at Tokyo Comic Con 2024 has been partially revealed!
The event will kick off with a grand opening ceremony on Friday, December 6, featuring appearances by a dazzling array of celebrities. In the evening, there will be a talk show with Jude Law, John Boyega, and Daniel Logan.
On Saturday, December 7, the celebrity stage will feature Jason Momoa, followed by an exciting “WE LOVE DC! Special Stage & Celebrity Stage” in the evening to celebrate the 85th anniversary of Batman. This action-packed stage will include a talk show with Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin from Gotham, along with a gathering of DC cosplayers.
On the final day, Sunday, December 8, Mads Mikkelsen, a staple at Japanese comic cons, will appear on stage with Hugh Dancy, his co-star from Hannibal. In the afternoon, Benedict Cumberbatch and Josh Brolin will take the stage, followed by the grand finale, where all the celebrities will gather in one place for a spectacular conclusion to the event. Over the course of three days, an exciting and diverse lineup awaits attendees!
During the celebrity stages, questions from fans submitted via Tokyo Comic Con’s social media channels will be asked. Fans may hear behind-the-scenes stories from their favorite movies and TV shows, as well as personal anecdotes from the stars themselves!

Day 1: Friday, December 6

12:00–12:30 (30 minutes)
Opening Ceremony
“Tokyo Comic Con 2024” kicks off here! The opening ceremony, with a declaration by ambassador Takumi Saito, marks the start of this exciting event. A grand stage with more than 10 celebrities will make for a spectacular opening.

Celebrating Batman’s 85th Anniversary – WE LOVE DC! Special Stage & Celebrity Stage: Ben McKenzie / Morena Baccarin
This year marks the 85th anniversary of “Batman,” and we will honor this legendary hero at the Tokyo Comic Con stage. A talk show with Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin, stars of the “GOTHAM” series, as well as a gathering of DC cosplayers, and a discussion with the creators of the animated movie Ninja Batman vs. Yakuza League featuring director Junpei Mizusaki, Shunji Takagi, and Koichi Yamadera as Batman will be held.

Important Note:

All seats for the celebrity stage are assigned, and you will need an “Assigned Seat Ticket” (electronic ticket displayed on your smartphone) to attend. The tickets will be distributed to those selected by lottery.
The lottery application is available through the “Stage Viewing Assigned Seat (Lottery)” link on the official website’s stage page.
The application period is from 12:00 PM on Monday, November 11 to 11:59 PM on Wednesday, November 20(JST). Results will be sent by email to all applicants by 6:00 PM on Monday, November 25(JST).
If there are vacant seats on the day of the event, or in the standing area, attendees will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please be aware that the schedule and participants may change due to the celebrities’ availability.

Regarding Sebastian Stan’s Cancellation

Sebastian Stan, who was scheduled to attend “Tokyo Comic Con 2024,” has had to cancel his participation due to an urgent filming schedule. He was looking forward to the event, and we also tried to adjust his schedule up until the last minute, but ultimately, he will not be able to attend this year. We sincerely apologize to the fans who were excited to see him. We will continue to work towards inviting Sebastian Stan to future Comic Con events.
