Comic Con fans! Fans of American comics and Hollywood movies! Join us!!
In Japan on Saturday, December 1, 2018, we are holding the Tokyo Comic Con Cosplay Fashion Show, a cosplay stage event mainly featuring American comics, Hollywood movies, non-Japanese games, and TV shows.
Enjoy the stage to share “love with fans” through cosplay, which ONIGIRI+ recommends.

Rules 1. People of all ages, genders, and nationalities are invited.
2. You have to be a cosplayer.
3. You need to be able to follow all rules of COSPLAY RUNWAY・COSPLAY Permormance.
4. You are asked to fill out the following agreement form and submit it on the day.
Cosplay subjects American comics, Hollywood movies, non-Japanese games, non-Japanese TV shows

COSPLAY RUNWAY regulations

What is COSPLAY RUNWAY?
Runway in cosplay costume!
Show you off in your brilliant costume.

  • Do not walk barefoot because it may be dangerous.
  • You are not allowed to turn off stage lighting or take positions on stage before performance.
  • You are asked to turn in the performance title and team description for MC’s comments.
  • Swords, working airguns and gas guns are not allowed on stage.
  • Stage effect using high explosive sound cannot be used.
  • Fire and water cannot be used on stage.
  • Stage effect that causes a mess on stage cannot be used. (Confetti and other things to throw, party sprays, etc.) Crackers that do not explode are allowed.
  • Arms and props that require special makeup and painting at the venue are not allowed. (Freshly-pained props and fake blood makeup are not allowed.)
  • No fixed props on stage are allowed.
  • No items can be thrown to the audience or outside the stage.
  • You cannot use videos shown on a back screen.
  • Songs and sounds used on stage should be copyright-free, your own performance, or licensed.
  • You cannot use sounds edited based on original songs (cutting/pasting, adjusting pitch, etc.)
  • No performance using a microphone is allowed.
  • Stage smoke effect cannot be requested.
  • No eating and drinking is allowed even as a part of your performance.
  • Other conduct that is offensive or disturbing to others are prohibited.
  • It is not allowed to create a derivative work for money using photos and videos associated with the event.

Entry period and application

<TOKYO COMIC-CON COSPLAY FASHION SHOW 2018> APPLICATION

  • Please make your application through the form below.
    After we confirm your registration, we will send you a confirmation e-mail for your application.
    To ensure you receive our e-mails, please avoid registering your mobile phone address.
    We recommend you make your application using your ISP e-mail address (other than free webmail).
  • In case you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within 6 days from your application date, please contact below.
  • When there are more than 3 entries of the same film, character, etc, entrants will be selected on a first come, first served basis.
    (Or we may ask you to change your work)
  • Members do not need to be finalized at the time of application.
    Final confirmation of participating members must be made by Monday, November 26th.
    Cancellation will be accepted, but no member additions or changes can be made after that.

Roles of the team leader

All rights and responsibilities of the team are owned by the “team leader”.
The team leader shall be in charge of the following tasks:

  • Management of participating members
  • Communicating information and messages to the members
  • Submitting necessary documents and materials to the event office (MC comments, music data, etc.)
  • Conducting the members and roll calls on the day of the event
  • Acting as the liaison on the day of the event
  • Acting as the contact during preparation (communication, accommodation of requests, etc)
